So when patients come in and they need a tooth extracted, which is definitely not everybody’s favorite thing to do, we make sure that the patients completely understand procedures, they know exactly what’s gonna go on, they know what they’re going to feel all prior to us doing anything. Once we get that taken care of, we’re able to sit them back, make sure that the tooth is good and numb. That’s another worry that I know that patients have is making sure that they’re out of pain. And we’re also completely honest with the patient about how the procedure’s going. If there’s anything else that needs to be done, we’ll make sure and sit them up and talk them through that.
Dental Surgery Will Make Your Smile Better
We know that most people don’t like thinking about having surgery performed on their mouth. However, dental surgery is sometimes needed to protect your healthy teeth or to restore health to your smile. In those cases, we’ll make sure your surgery is as comfortable as possible. To help you relax in the dental chair, we offer sedation in the form of laughing gas. Immediately after breathing in this sweet-smelling gas, you’ll begin to experience a light euphoria that melts your cares away. It also wears off quickly after your procedure, with no lingering grogginess.
With our team’s expertise, you can receive the following surgical procedures without having to visit an oral surgeon:
- Tooth Extractions – If we’re unable to save your tooth with a filling, root canal, or crown, we’ll gently remove it so that your other teeth and gums stay healthy.
- Bone Grafts – We can insert bone material where you’ve lost a tooth to strengthen your jaw and keep it from deteriorating.
You’ll find our office conveniently located on Legacy Drive between I-24 and Smyrna High School. We open at 7 a.m., for your convenience.
